Olivia’s Chop House (517-849-3663) in Jonesville, Michigan, will have its grand opening on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. Once known as the Chicago Water Grill, the Jonesville restaurant burned down around Thanksgiving of 2009 and has been under reconstruction since. It was totally rebuilt to about 3 times its original size and will feature a banquet room, private dining room, and outdoor seating along with a spacious main restaurant with bar and view to the kitchen. The name was changed to honor owner Wayne Babcock’s first born child.
Hillsdale County is happy to once again have a fine dining restaurant in downtown Jonesville. Olivia’s Chop House will feature steaks and seafood in an upscale casual atmosphere. Guests of the Munro House B&B are sure to enjoy the easy 2 block walk to this fine establishment.
